Grand Master Kee S. Ha is the founder of Kees Tae Kwon Do
Canada. For almost 50 years, Grand Master Kee S. Ha has instilled in his students
the values of honor, courage, thoughtfulness and the importance of honoring
tradition. He has taught by example, the rewards to be achieved from dedicating
oneself to a worthy goal. His hard work and dedication has resulted in the
growth of Kees schools from Saskatoon to Vancouver, and has earned him the
respect and reputation in the world as a genuine master of the art and philosophy
of Taekwondo.
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY:
True Taekwondo education must include not only physical techniques but also
philosophical knowledge so that training results in a healthy body, mind,
spirit and character.
EDUCATION & ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
- Former Korean TKD Association sub-committee member
- Former Korean Olympic Committee staff member
- Certified as a Master Instructor by Korean TKD Association at the first
Master Instructor Course 1972
- Received a Citation Award in Recognition for Dedicated Service and Outstanding
Contribution to the Development of Taekwondo from Dr. Kim, Un Young, President
of the World Taekwondo Federation 1982

- A Founding Father of WTF-style Taekwondo in Western Canada
- Founding Member of the Saskatchewan WTF Association
- Hosted the 1987 Canadian National Championships—the only time it's
been held in Saskatchewan
